Show Us Your Life: Baby Names

Show Us Your Life with Kelly's Korner

This is a new one for me today! I'm joining in with Kelly over at Kelly's Korner for this week's Show Us Your Life. The theme is baby names and well, that's important to me right now. :)'s what I'm thinking. A note, we don't know the gender of the baby yet. I have my 15 week appointment on Tuesday, so hopefully we'll schedule the gender scan for sometime in the next 2 weeks. YAY!

Ren Mackenzy (this is my current fave, Dave says it's okay)
Abbie Jean
Kyrsten (keer-sten) Elise
Brooklyn Grace
Felicity Jean (Dave thinks I made up the name Felicity...hmmm...:))

Trace Gerard
Christopher David
Daniel Gerard
Noah David

Okay. Now. Here's the thing. I love to think up names, I like a little originality and specifically not a name that I have too many students with. I am very conscious of not "naming the baby after a dancer." (Know what I mean?) Dave, my dear husband, on the other hand...he likes "names that are definitely boy or girl, not too common, but not too unique."

Hmmm...only time will tell! :)

Hi, just visiting from Kelly's Korner. I love your name choices. I also have a thing for unique names. From your list, I love Trace David for a boy and Brooklyn Grace or Ren Mackenzy for a girl. But you really can't go wrong with any of those! Good Luck!

I too love the name Kiersten (or however you'd like to spell it :-)) Not sure why, I've just always loved it! We have kiddos up here in MN who spell it with a "Kj" because of their scandinavian herritage.

Happy Friday Kate! :-)

i like your names!! :)

I like all the girl names. Kyrsten Elise is my favorite, but i like the others too. I think Brooklyn Grace is the most common one, though. I know about 5 of them right now. LOL. (All age 5 & under). But it's still really cute! My hubby's little cousin is named Kiersten - (keer-sten) & i love that.

I like all your boy names!
