I'm really excited by Ann Curry's #26acts initiative. I think it's wonderful way to give the tiniest, smidge of goodness out of that awful tragedy. I'm trying to get all of my #26acts in before I turn 28 on January 5! It's the best birthday present I can give myself...to think about others, do nice things with out expecting anything in return. I truly believe the energy and the "Vibes" if you will that we put out are returned to us. I try to teach my kids every day to show Jesus' love to others...so why not teach by example?
Here's what I've done so far...
1 & 2: Found anonymous donors to pay off two families tuition accounts that were really struggling this month.
3. Left a large tip at the Chinese restaurant when I picked up our take out last night.
4. This giveaway!
You see, I have nothing to celebrate right now as I typically do when I host giveaways. No big milestone, no birthday...just because. I just want to send a little love to another blogger. From me to you. :)
What's up for grabs? A $15 Sephora e-gift certificate and a mystery box of some of my favorite things mailed straight to your door. (That's the random part of this act :))
Want to enter? This giveaway is open until 12-30. I will announce winner on 12-31. Use the Rafflecopter widget below!
Have fun!

I left a $5 tip on my $9 meal last Friday at lunch ... the server was amazing - she deserved it!
Last night my hubby & I wanted to do something...maybe pay for another couple's meal. We couldn't decide & finally was like - why don't we treat the waitress? She was a great waitress, too. Anyway, we gave a $20 tip & it was SO FUN! :) I want to do more random acts of kindness! Plan to blog about it soon! :)
Fun Kate! I'm not entering so someone else can win... can that be my random act of kindness for today haha? Just kidding.
Yesterday I sent two gift cards with notes to the school. I noticed that every nice day at recess these two guy teachers were playing football with the kids. I just wanted to let them know that their above and beyond was noticed and appreciated... even though they aren't my kids out there they are teachers at my kids school!
I "accidentally" dropped a $5 bill in the Walmart parking lot. There are a lot of homeless people in the area, too many to give to all of them and how do you chooose? I hope I made one of them very happy and a little less hungry.
I gave a nice tip to a cab driver the other night. I also found a credit card on the ground and returned it! Awesome giveaway, lady!
The other night hubs and I were out to dinner, I left an extra good tip to the waitress who was dealing with a rude table beside us
Ive paid for two people behind me at line in starbucks and gave a homeless man a bottle of water I had that was not opened in my car :)
I went to Sonic and bought an extra burger and coffee for the cold, homeless man on the sidewalk. Made my heart happy to help!
I recently left our server $100 tip on a small bill!
I get an error in RAfflecopter when I try to follow Studio K on FB - the 'like' link doesn't exist. I can't find them via search either to add. :/

I left a large tip the other day at a restaurant! :)
Obviously, this makes me believe I don't do enough random acts of kindness. However, when we were in Miami 2 weeks ago, we tipped the shuttle driver (to the hotel) $20 everytime he took us somewhere because he was such a nice guy.
We had a couple kids at school (where I work ss a sign language interpreter) who couldnt afford books for the gift exchange. I bought and wrapped up the books for them so all the kids could participate. I love reading what everyone else has done , I'm going to buy someone coffee this week!
I gave a $10 target gift card to a lady in front of me in line at Target to help her pay for her Christmas gifts.
I bought a hot dog and a bottle of water for a local homeless man
